Halibut Point State Park has never had so many visitors. In the year of the pandemic, our passive recreation sanctuary has been stretched to the limit by so many people discovering its pleasures. We appreciate the commitment of the Commonwealth, and dedicated Park staff, to balancing public enjoyment with preservation of natural, historic, and tranquil resources.
These photographs portray a variety of Park souvenirs from November 2020.

“Our parks and preserves are not mere picnicking places,” he said. “They are rich storehouses of memories and reveries. They are guides and counsels to the weary and faltering in spirit. They are bearers of wonderful tales to him who will listen; a solace to the aged and an inspiration to the young.”
